Biking the Mission Trail

 

 

 

This tour allows guests to see the beautiful Missions, and some of San Antonio, atop bicycles. The tour begins at Mission Espada, where guests are fitted with bicycles and helmets. During the two-wheeled adventure, guests visit Mission Espada, Mission Espada's Acequia and Dam, and historic Mission San Jose. At each stop, the tour guide shares the story of each great historic landmark.

Guests see firsthand how Texas wildflowers are grown for seed harvesting at the largest working wildflower farm in the United States. The tour continues to visit one of the local wineries for a tasting of Texas wines. Seeing Art San Antonio

 

This art tour covers the finest local art collections in San Antonio. Many of San Antonio’s finest and most talented artists are featured in galleries throughout the city. Guests gain a better understanding of why San Antonio is known for its unique and nationally-recognized art community. Stops include Volant Embroidered Fine Art Gallery, which features unique embroidered pieces, and Garcia Art and Glass, known for its fine blown art. Tour can also include a unique lunch experience at the new Azuca restaurant. The idea for this restaurant was inspired by a desire to unite the cuisine, service and atmosphere of the Caribbean, Central and Latin America.
